What RentLab is
The platform connects two sides: someone who needs an item temporarily and has no reason to buy it, and an owner who rarely uses that item. Searching, filtering by city, category and price, and contacting the owner all happen in one place.
RentLab is not a party to the rental and processes no payments. The rental price, the period, and the handover and return terms are agreed between the two people in the platform's chat, and money changes hands directly between them.
Trust comes from phone verification, public profiles with listing history, reviews — which only a user who has actually exchanged messages with the counterparty can leave — and moderation of listings.

How are rental prices decided?
The owner sets the price themselves, in Georgian lari, as an hourly or a daily rate. A listing can show either or both.
The final amount, any deposit, and the rental period are agreed between the two people in chat.
How is RentLab different from a rental company?
A rental company owns its stock and rents it out itself. RentLab owns nothing — it lets ordinary people rent each other the things they already have.
In practice that means you agree the terms with a person rather than with a company, and what is available depends on what owners have listed.
