Terms of Use

RentLab is not a party to any rental. We provide the space where an owner publishes a listing and an interested person gets in touch. The item, its condition, the price and the rental terms are agreed entirely between the two of you.

We do not physically inspect items, we make no guarantee about their quality, and we are not responsible for whether either side honours what they agreed.

This is the most important rule on this page. RentLab does not process payments, does not hold funds and does not act as escrow. There is no payment field anywhere on the platform, and we will never ask you for card details.

Settlement happens entirely between you and the other party, on whatever terms you agree. A "rental request" on the platform is only a record of interest — it is not a booking, a contract, or proof of payment.

If anyone asks you to transfer money or hand over card details on behalf of RentLab, it is a scam. Please report it to us immediately.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Use your real name, email and phone number. Signing up with email requires email verification; signing in with Google counts as already verified.
• Your phone number is verified with an SMS code. One person, one account.
• You are responsible for the security of your password and for access to your account.
• Business accounts may be asked for a company name, tax ID and proof of business activity.

By publishing a listing you confirm that the item is yours or that you have the right to rent it out.

• The description, price and location must be accurate, and the photos must be of the actual item.
• Do not publish the same item repeatedly to push it up the catalogue.
• Do not put a phone number or other contact details in the listing text — use the platform's messages instead.

The following may not be listed: weapons and ammunition, drugs, stolen or counterfeit goods, identity documents, live animals, and anything else that Georgian law prohibits renting out.

The two sides contact each other through the platform's messages. A phone number is visible only inside an active conversation — never on a public profile or a listing card.

Spam, abuse, threats, and using conversations for advertising are not allowed.

You can review someone only if you have had at least one conversation with them. The platform checks this automatically.

A review must reflect real experience. Fake, paid or retaliatory reviews are not allowed and will be removed.

VIP status gives a listing a more prominent position in the catalogue and on the home page. It is purely a visibility feature — VIP does not mean RentLab has inspected the item or vouched for its quality.

Inspect the item before it changes hands, and agree in advance on the period, the amount, any deposit, and what happens if the item is damaged. Putting it in writing is a good idea.

RentLab is not a party to that agreement and is not liable for damage, loss, late return, or any dispute that arises between the two sides.

You can report any listing or user. Where these rules are broken we may hide or delete a listing and restrict access to an account.

These rules may change over time. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the platform after a significant change means you accept the updated rules.
